New TV Ad in AZ-05
Washington - Today, Club for Growth.Net began running a television ad on cable systems throughout Arizona's Fifth Congressional District.
Entitled "Keep Fighting," the ad seeks to educate taxpayers about David Schweikert's excellent position on taxpayer issues. As Maricopa County Treasurer, Schweikert cracked down on tax cheats and reduced the size of his own office. As a state legislator from 1991 - 1994, Schweikert fought for tax cuts, tort reform, and school choice. Schweikert still espouses these positions.
"It is important to tell people in Arizona about David Schweikert's positions on taxes so they can call him and encourage him to keep fighting for tax relief and economic freedom," said Club for Growth.Net President Pat Toomey. "Schweikert's record on taxes stands out as principled and economically conservative. We hope taxpayers will call Schweikert and ask him to keep fighting for tax relief."
The ad begins running on Tuesday, July 29 on cable systems in the east metro area. The ad will run for an extended time with no set end date.
