New Ad Buy in Colorado
Lincoln Club of Orange County Supports New Club for Growth.NET Ad Buy in Colorado
Washington – With the support of the Lincoln Club of Orange County, Club for Growth.Net purchased another $75,000 ad buy on cable stations throughout Colorado, informing people about Mark Udall’s record on protecting private property (watch ad here). Located in California’s Orange County, the esteemed Lincoln Club is comprised of conservatives who share the Club for Growth’s commitment to fighting for limited government and economic freedom. For forty-six years, the Lincoln Club has been supporting major conservative policies in California and around the country.
Colorado has seen a lot of eminent domain abuse in recent years, and Mark Udall’s record on this issue is severely wanting. Over the past couple of years, hundreds of people in Colorado have seen their property condemned by the government. An eighty-seven year old man’s home was taken by the government in 2000 and a family-owned restaurant was forced to close its doors when the government condemned the property. Despite the tragedy of eminent domain abuse in Colorado, Rep. Mark Udall has voted to make it easier for government to take private property. This ad encourages people in Colorado to call Rep. Udall and tell him to protect private property from eminent domain abuse.
“Club for Growth.Net is proud to have earned the support of the Lincoln Club in running this crucial ad,” said Club for Growth.Net President Pat Toomey. “Together, we hope we can educate people in Colorado so they will call Mark Udall and urge him to vote to protect private property. When conservatives across the country team up, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.”
“The Lincoln Club fiercely opposes eminent domain abuse and has always fought for the protection of private property rights,” said Lincoln Club President Richard K. Wagner. “By supporting Club for Growth.Net's expanded ad buy, more Coloradans will learn the truth about Mark Udall’s anti-property rights record and how they can help the cause of property rights.”
